Access to the University:
by bus - number 9, 12, 20 (from the station)
by car - from the West, East and South - Travel to junction 11 of the M4. At the motorway roundabout, take the B3270 (signposted to Earley and the University). Continue to the end of the road. Turn left at the mini roundabout onto the A327 (Shinfield Road). The University's main entrance is on the right after the first set of traffic lights but before the second set.

Form the North - Travel towards the town centre, joining the Inner Distribution Road (IDR) and following signs for the University. Just after a major junction (with a right-hand turn to A33) leave the IDR by the exit on the left, signposted to the University. Travel along London Street. At the top of the hill, past some shops, turn left onto A327 (Christchurch Road). Continue straight over at the traffic lights and the University's main entrance is on the left.

by rail - Reading is on the London to Bristol line and a frequent service from London Paddington take 22 minutes. The University is a short journey from Reading town centre and station.
by air - There are direct bus and train services to Reading from Heathrow and Gatwick.
